Lead Teacher: Mrs. Colleen Tipton
Welcome to St. Mark's Preschool Four-Year-Old Program.
My name is Colleen Tipton and I will be your child's lead four's teacher this year. This will be my 24th year teaching at St. Mark's. I started as the lead three's teacher in 2000. I have been the lead four's teacher since 2007.
I attended Rio Grande University in southern Ohio. I have completed the 90 hour early childhood education course through Chesapeake College. I have also completed numerous workshops, conferences and seminars pertaining to early childhood education.
Our family moved from Ohio to Easton in 1991. My husband, Eric, works for the State of Maryland. Our oldest daughter, Shannon, is a dental hygienist in Charleston, SC. She lives there with her husband, B.J., and our almost two-year-old granddaughter, Darby. Our son, Joe, recently moved to Seattle, Washington with his wife, Hanna. He was recently hired by Boeing to do jet engine inspections. Our youngest daughter, Molly, lives in Baltimore with her husband, Mike. She is a field manager with Gallo wines.
St. Mark's is a wonderful place for your child to grow, learn and have a lot of fun! Please contact me at etipton@goeaston.net with any questions or concerns. I look forward to a wonderful year ahead.

Hi! My name is Angie Lavezzo and I am very excited to start my first year at St.Mark’s assisting Mrs. Tipton.
I have lived in Easton since 2013, when I moved from Montgomery County to live with my husband and two bonus kids. Since then, we have added 3 more children to our family, as well as 2 dogs and 6 chickens.
I am a YTT-200 certified yoga teacher and have a certificate from Kidding Around Yoga,
a program specializing in teaching yoga to pre-school aged children. I taught yoga to 2-
5 year olds at Christ Church Day School until the program was shut down in 2020.
Before teaching yoga, I worked as a technician in an OBGYN practice and then an Ophthalmology group for a combined 13 years.
Predictably, my only free time is in the wee hours of the morning. I enjoy watching with
sun rise while rowing with the local crew team, participating in group exercise, or taking long walks. I cannot wait to work and play with your wonderful 4-year-olds this year.
